The Fountain Hills Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) hosted its biennial fashion show luncheon, “Ritzy Glitzy,” on Nov. 4 at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort.

Fountain Hills clothing boutique Classy Jazzy provided the fashion show using PEO women as models.

Doors opened at 10 a.m. for attendees to shop at the raffle and silent auction prior to the fashion show. Approximately 218 tickets were sold.

The program began with a professional dance couple dancing to “Putting on the Ritz.”

The audience cheered as the models strutted down the runway to peppy music.

“PEO would like to thank all participants and donors for making this a very successful fundraiser for women’s scholarships,” a press release read. “The proceeds are dedicated toward empowering women through education by providing scholarships to deserving women, in which three to four are dedicated to female residents of Fountain Hills.”

“PEO-DZ Chapter of Fountain Hills would like to give our sincere thanks to Hilda and Jim Bourdamis, owners of Classy Jazzy, and their staff for a beautifully choreographed fashion show that wowed the audience,” the release continued. “Big ‘thank you’ to Mary Lynn Rector, event coordinator, Kathy Rubin and Kathy Dietz, co-chairs, and all the PEO members and individuals who participated in helping make this event such as great success.”
