2024 Summer Program continues

Posted

Fountain Hills Photography Club continues its 2024 Summer Program with another installment of the Before and After Program and the Show and Tell Slideshow Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Community Center.

The Show and Tell Slideshow is a slightly changed version of the former Member Slideshow where attendees are encouraged to provide more information on the photos they share; the why, where, how and what they hoped to convey with the photo.

The Before and After Program asks members to submit an original untouched photo along with the same photo showing the final results of post-processing.

Members will be asked to inform the audience why the particular subject was chosen, the camera or smartphone used and what application(s) were used for the post-processing.

With so many avenues now for post-processing, the discussion will likely touch on elements like composition, cropping, color correction, contrast and exposure.

All are invited to attend the Fountain Hills Photography Club, a growing group of enthusiastic local photographers of all levels, intent on sharpening photography skills, exploring the amazing capabilities of smartphone cameras and AI, experiencing the wonders of post-processing and exchanging the stories behind the photos.

Those interested in attending should bring their photos and their desire to learn more about taking pictures. Cookies will be provided.
