Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning considering 29 new residential lots

Also review downtown district overlay density

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission look to rezone 20 acres south of Golden Eagle Boulevard to allow development of 29 single-family homes.

The lot is currently zoned R1-35, which is a 35,000-square-foot lot size minimum, and will potentially be rezoned to R1-10A, which allows 10,000-square-foot lot size minimum.

Should the commission approve, the final plat will limit homes to one story with an established non-development area for the regulatory floodplain.
