Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning moves forward with ordinance draft

For wireless telecommunications, antennas

A draft for ordinances pertaining to wireless telecommunications and antennas will go before the Planning and Zoning Commission during its September meeting.

The commission held a work session Tuesday, July 27 with Vanessa Shinmoto and Scott McCollough of McCollough Law Firm virtually present to review ordinance drafts pertaining to wireless telecommunications and antennas.

Based on input from the commission, modifications to ordinances will be brought back to a regularly scheduled meeting for public hearing on Chapter 17, as it’s within their purview. Should that be approved by the commission, it will head before the Town Council at a later date.
