Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning to address drive-thru sign size, ordinances

Commission will also review chapter reorganization

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission will review a series of ordinances during its meeting on Monday, May 11.

The commission will review its code allowance for drive-thru signs, as current ordinances allow for what is smaller than industry standards.

Various sizes of signs, as detailed in the meeting packet, list coffee shops at six to 12 square feet; fast food signs at 12 to 24 square feet; and large full service signs at 24 to 40 square feet.
