Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning to review telecommunications ordinance

Expanded protections added

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission will review changes to ordinances pertaining to wireless telecommunication towers and antennas during its Sept. 14 meeting. 

Over the past few years, staff has been working to craft legal protections for the town from towers and antennas. 

After revising the ordinance, Chapter 17, in March from the Campanelli Law Firm, a consultant was hired to help address the technical and legal challenges.
