At a meeting April 21, the Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission continued its discussion on proposed changes to the telecommunications infrastructure regulations included in the Zoning Ordinance.
In the first substantive discussion on the issue since Commissioner Mathew Corrigan took a seat on the commission replacing now Councilmember Rick Watts, Corrigan took a stand he himself described as “provocative and unpopular.”
Corrigan suggested the commission take up the draft ordinance prepared by consultant Andrew Campanelli and send it to the council with little change. “I don’t want to eliminate anything our attorney (proposed),” Corrigan said.
