The Little Falcons preschool in the Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) is getting ready for its second official year and is adjusting pricing and the school handbook.
Leah Gleason spoke to the FHUSD Governing Board on Wednesday, April 3. Gleason is FHUSD’s Exceptional Student Services (ESS) coordinator and oversaw Little Falcons Preschool this past year.
Before school care (7-8:30 a.m.) will increase from $5 per day to $10 per day. After school care will still be $10, but will end at 5 p.m., instead of 6 p.m. Board members asked how strict the 5 p.m. cut off is, and FHUSD Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski said the school can be flexible and also look into a partnership with the local Boys & Girls Club.
