The Fountain Hills Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is preparing for another year of supporting students, staff and families.
Last year, the PTO raised over $100,000 for Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) schools through various initiatives. Step It Up and the 5K Fun Run, two of the three biggest fundraisers, were started in the last few years.
Co-President Robin Bratcher led efforts to start the Feathers and Flapjacks Fun Run two years ago and is continuing to build up the race. The Fun Run will be held at McDowell Mountain Elementary School again, and the PTO has drone footage from last year’s race to help promote the fundraiser.
