Fountain Hills Public Works details projects, success in fiscal year 2026

Recap of work

As fiscal year 2026 comes to a close the end of June, the Fountain Hills Town Council received a presentation detailing projects under the public works umbrella during its April 21 meeting.

Pavement management has been an ongoing task, with the town spending $3,919,830 on asphalt milling and paving, said Public Works Director Justin Weldy. Come end of the year, there will be just north of nine miles paved.

“That’s a considerable amount of paving for a small community,” he said.
