The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission approved a special use permit for a business located at 16939 E Colony Drive during its meeting on Monday, Feb. 9.
The business, located in Suite 4 in the commercial district, requested a special use permit for the window showroom, assembly of windows and office space to meet with clients and conduct business.
The permit is for light assembly of less than 50% occupancy of the building and no hazardous materials. The business has been in operation for several months and was unaware of the need for a special use permit for light assembly and storage, according to background information, but have since put together a request.
