Fountain Hills P&Z to review SUP for patio cover

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission will review a special use permit request for a front yard patio cover during its Dec. 8 meeting.

The property owner at 17114 E. Fairway Court has applied for a SUP in order to go forward with a building permit for the proposed structure.

Building setbacks are required to maintain viability and openness along streets. With the ordinance change, the council has allowed this type of encroachment to be considered and approved if met by the criteria.
