Monsoon activity has increased, bringing with it a drop in daytime highs and an increase in moisture. The Flood Control District of Maricopa County has eight rainfall monitoring stations across Fountain Hills that project potential flooding.
None gathered any rain in the past 24 hours, according to the county website, but rain is forecasted.
Highs Monday are 100 to 105 degrees with a 20% chance in the afternoon and up to 30% with a chance of thunderstorms at night, according to the National Weather Service for Fountain Hills.
