Fountain Hills Unified School District faculty and students were recognized as “Falcons of the Month” at the Oct. 22 FHUSD Governing Board meeting.
McDowell Mountain Elementary School Principal Valerie Reichler acknowledged the positive contributions of staff Garnet Pennington and student Harley Burling.
Reichler described Pennington as “the heart and soul of our library,” heaping praise on Pennington for several minutes. The principal said Burling’s main contribution is her school spirit and enthusiasm.
