Fountain Hills Revenue Report remains overall positive

Retail remains priority

The Town of Fountain Hills remains stable, with multiple revenues above projections in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.

Chief Financial Officer Paul Soldinger presented a revenue update at the Feb. 3 council meeting. The town’s total net taxable activity saw a 7.1% drop – or $11.9 million – to $167.4 million from the same period in 2025, Soldinger outlined.

Soldinger attributed much of the drop to the loss of residential rental taxes, as total transaction privilege tax saw a 4% decrease, though still 6.2% above projections.
