Fountain Hills school board discusses pickleball contract

Potentially raising fees

The Fountain Hills Pickleball Club approached the Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) governing board about a contract extension in September 2023.

The board did not come to any decision on the matter and brought it back up for discussion on Wednesday, May 1. Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski has had meetings with the club’s leadership and said he will meet with them one more time before bringing a recommendation to the board for a vote.

The club’s current contract expires on Jan. 1, 2027. They are asking for a three-year extension.
