The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The Board will vote on updates to the 2023-24 school calendar and will discuss the superintendent’s goals. The board will also honor the Falcons of the Month from each school.
High school class periods were lengthened to 70 minutes from 55 minutes earlier this year, meaning there is no need to have a half-day release for the final two days of each trimester. The half-days in question are Nov. 2-3, Feb. 15-16 and May 22-23.
Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski will present his revised goals for 2023-24. The board previously heard his goals and asked him to workshop them further. Jagodzinski added objectives to five of his six goals, elaborating on steps to achieve his goals.
