Fountain Hills school district outlines priorities in 2026-27 improvement plan

The Fountain Hills Unified School District has identified five areas of focus for the 2026-27 school year, ranging from academic achievement and special education to campus safety and career preparation.

Superintendent Val Reichler presented the district’s Continuous Improvement Plan to the Governing Board Nov. 4, saying the goal is to give families and residents a clearer picture of the work taking place across the district.

“We’ve always had a continuous improvement plan but what we want to do is be a little more transparent here and share with you and the community what we are doing,” she said.
