Fountain Hills is going to kick off its celebration of America’s 250th anniversary in style this spring.
At 5:30 p.m. on April 25, the American Car Parade will roll out, starting at Phil’s Filling Station, 16852 E. Parkview Ave., before traveling up Parkview, over to Palisades, down around the park, up and back down the Avenue of the Fountains, and then park on Saguaro. The parade will feature a group of uniquely American cars from the Fountain Hills Auto Club, according to a press release.
And between 7:10 and 7:40 p.m. on April 25 will be a screening of the film “National Treasure” at Fountain Park, 1295 N. Saguaro Blvd. The film will be screened for free on a 40-feet movie screen at the park.
