Fountain Hills’ Shea Boulevard closer to completion

Reduced to one lane

Construction crews will be paving new asphalt.

The Shea Boulevard widening project is inching toward completion as new asphalt is now being placed. The town announced a one-lane restriction is to start 3 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, in order for crews to work safely.

Eastbound traffic will be limited to one lane from Palisades to Fountain Hills Boulevards, and those who use that section of road are encouraged to allow for extra travel time and use caution while driving.
