The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 14, through Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Thursday, Dec. 14.

*Deputies responded to the 9700 block of Monterey Drive for a reported runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located by deputies.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 14, through Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Thursday, Dec. 14.

*Deputies responded to the 9700 block of Monterey Drive for a reported runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located by deputies.

Friday, Dec. 15

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Indian Wells Drive where a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Laser Drive for a report that an unknown subject stole a water line backflow preventer from a commercial property.

*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Technology Drive where it was reported that an unknown suspect stole a backflow preventer from a commercial property.

Saturday, Dec. 16

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown suspect stole a water line backflow preventer from a commercial property.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Arrow Drive reported that an unknown subject attempted to defraud them.

Sunday, Dec. 17

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Golden Eagle Blvd. where a DUI investigation was initiated after a single vehicle traffic collision. The driver was found to be driving under the influence and was issued a criminal citation.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Cholla Drive reported they received threatening phone calls from an unknown suspect.

Monday, Dec. 18

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. A driver was stopped for criminal speeding traveling 80 miles per hour where the limit is 50. They were issued a criminal citation.

Wednesday, Dec. 20

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of White Wing Ct. where it was reported that an unknown suspect used the victim’s debit card multiple times resulting in a monetary loss of approximately $350.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. A motorist was stopped for criminal speeding traveling 79 miles per hour where the limit is 50. They were issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies made a criminal speeding traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. The driver was issued a citation for traveling 88 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Marathon Drive reported that a known suspect sent them disturbing and threatening messages.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive reported an unknown suspect entered the residence and took items from them without permission.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Dogwood Lane reported they were defrauded out of approximately $500 by a fake classified ad.
