The Fountain Hills High School softball team continues to show progress in each new game.
The Falcons (0-7) lost their first game against No. 6 Crismon (6-1) 23-0 on March 6, and the Falcons lost 22-4 against the Rattlers in a rematch on March 21. The Falcons played with eight players instead of a full roster in both games due to injuries.
Senior Hailey Chandler and junior Sammantha Hughes both had two hits on two at bats, and they scored three of the Falcons’ four runs. Junior Mia Espinoza went one for two at the plate and scored a run.
