The Fountain Hills High School softball team dropped to 0-3 to start the season.
They lost a close match with Parker, 14-13, in the Phoenix Country Day Desert Classic tournament, and they scored 10 runs in their 28-10 loss at Payson on Monday, March 4.
“The girls like Hailey [Chandler], Sammy [Hughes] and Mia [Espinoza] at the top of the order have been extremely productive,” Head Coach Randy Bragg said. “Hailey utilizes her speed to get on base pretty much any way she chooses, and I kind of give her carte blanche.”
