Students who have participated in previous international trips and teacher/chaperone Chris Peterson presented information to the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board about the educational experiences students gain from traveling internationally at the Sept. 2 board meeting.
Fountain Hills High School students Milo Coon, Sebastian Atkinson, Maggie Carroll and Aidyn Lloyd spoke to the board about their trip across Europe during spring break 2026, where they visited Spain, Switzerland, France and more.
Peterson said the trip gives students an opportunity to connect what they learn in class with firsthand experiences.
