Every year, third-grade students from McDowell Mountain Elementary School (MMES) get a chance to dance with Ballet Arizona dancers during their Ballet Under the Stars tour.

MMES Dean of Students Nicole Latona says ballet dancers spend three days with students, practicing and rehearsing for the big night on Thursday, Sept. 19, in Fountain Park.

“Ballet Arizona is world-renowned, and the fact that they come and work with our students is pretty amazing,” Latona said.
