The swim season doesn’t start until September, but the Fountain Hills High School aquatic Falcons have been working out at Peaks Athletic Club throughout the summer to prepare.
“The preseason’s great,” head coach Patti Schultz said. “I have a smaller squad right now. I think I have 12. I’m going to be recruiting hard at Falcon Fest for sure. I lost four seniors last year, and hopefully what I’ve got coming in will be four to match that.”
The Falcons placed in the top 10 of five different events at the state championship last year. Graduated senior Keian Evans placed fifth in two events, and his younger brothers collected another 10th, 14th and 15th place finishes.
