Fountain Hills Theater returns to Batchelor’s Pad BBQ with a brand-new, never-before-seen, murder mystery dinner theater production, “Pineapple Princess.”

Join the theater on the Batchelor’s Pad upper deck and climb aboard the royal luxury yacht, “Pineapple Princess,” for a three-hour tour of the waters around Cheeba Island.

Participants will celebrate the upcoming Aha Ho’omale (or wedding) of Princess Sparkle Cheeba and her fiancé, J’anus Lyre, the heir apparent to the Lyre, Lyre, Pence and Fyre Corporate Acquisitions dynasty.

Unfortunately, a suspicious death may cause a major upheaval in everyone’s good time and change everyone’s boarding pass from partygoer to suspect.

Murder never tasted so good as participants dine on a three-course meal, specially curated by Batchelor’s Pad BBQ. Throughout the evening, listen carefully as clues are dropped by the company of outrageous characters. Bribe these less-than-trustworthy individuals with clue bucks for bonus clues. Solve the mystery and attendees could win the grand prize.

“Pineapple Princess” is written and directed by Ross Collins and stars Zeke Collins, Cindy Covington, Adam Gobeski, Sebastian Harris-Wylde, Aurora Howard, Connor Klein, Lauren Miller, Henry Male, Elias Matthews, Adam Oberg, Mike Romano and Chloe Rozalsky.

“Pineapple Princess” will play at Batchelor’s Pad BBQ (13407 N. La Montana Drive) Friday Aug. 15, Saturday, Aug. 16, Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. “Pineapple Princess” is rated PG-13 for adult humor and themes.

Ticket prices are $75 per person and include interactive performance and three-course dinner. A cash bar is available.

Clue bucks to bribe suspects and 50/50 raffle tickets may be purchased at the event. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible and all proceeds from the event will support Fountain Hills Theater, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Tickets and information are available online through the theater’s website at fhtaz.org, or by phone through the Fountain Hills Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661, Ext. 3. Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
