Fountain Hills Theater is no stranger to accolades, and this year is no different.

The theater received 29 total nominations in the 2026 ariZoni Awards, as the annual show that celebrates the best in Arizona theater recently released its list of nominees.

Nine of those 29 nominations are for “Evil Dead: The Musical,” the musical adaptation of Sam Raimi’s cult horror franchise that made waves during its run at FHT earlier this summer.
