Fountain Hills Theater to perform ‘Annie’ this summer

Fountain Hills Theater is performing the Tony-Award winning musical “Annie” this summer.

The shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays starting July 17 until Aug. 9 at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd., according to a press release.

A description for the show is as follows: “Based on the beloved 1920s comic strip, “Annie” is a timeless, Tony Award-winning musical following a spunky, optimistic orphan in 1930s New York City. Determined to find her parents, she escapes a cruel orphanage to find a new life with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, featuring iconic songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life.”
