Fountain Hills time model driven by experience

With no regular meetings scheduled in July, the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board had a busy list of items to cover at both its June meetings.

One of the items approved unanimously by the board at its June 18 meeting was its instructional time model. Superintendent Cain Jagodzinski told the board about some of the minor and more significant adjustments in the most recent revision to the plan.

“Instructional time models allow us to craft our school days the way we need to for all students, and allows the district to still get funding with all students being ‘1.0’ students, with some of them working at home under our model,” Jagodzinski told the Times Independent after the June 18 meeting.
