Fountain Hills to create skygazing park

Park to compliment Dark Sky Center

The proposed park land is currently used for construction and wash maintenance storage by the town when needed.

Skyview Park was one of a handful of items discussed by the Fountain Hills Town Council during its Capital Improvement Project work session on March 24.

While the town is a Dark Sky community and is home to the International Dark Sky Discovery Center, it lacks complimentary attractions.

The proposed star gazing park, located at the corner of Bainbridge and Golden Eagle Boulevard, is 1.5 acres and is set to become just that.
