The Town of Fountain Hills is hosting an open house for the preliminary design of improvements to Verde River Drive and Parkview Avenue from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, at the Community Center.
Town staff and contractor Kimley-Horn will lead the meeting with residents given the opportunity to give feedback, ask questions and see the process for the project.
The design is currently 30%, according to a press release, and feedback will help drive further development. The improvements to the intersection will support sidewalks and curb ramps, installation of trees, lighting and landscaping improvements and pedestrian crossing.
