The Town of Fountain Hills is turning up the volume this fall with a new free concert series at Centennial Pavilion, designed to bring music, energy, and fun to the downtown.

The series opens on Nov. 20 with New Destiny (R&B/Soul). Born and bred in Phoenix, New Destiny has been lighting up stages for decades with a mix of old school funk, soulful R&B, and dance-floor energy.

Grab some friends, a favorite blanket, and dancing shoes, and join the fun from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month from November through April at Centennial Pavilion (13001 N. La Montana Drive, next to the Community Center).

“We’re thrilled to bring live music to the heart of Fountain Hills,” said Economic Development Director Amanda Jacobs. “It’s a great way for our residents, businesses, and visitors to come together. Bring your chairs, blankets, and best dance moves.”

The rest of the concert lineup for 2025–2026 includes December 18 – The Sugar Thieves (Blues/Americana) have been winning fans worldwide with their high energy, soulful live shows since 2006. Over the years they have honed their brand of American roots music, creating a sound that is all their own. Moving between blues, country, folk, gospel, rock and roll, and elements of jazz, freely they honor the tradition that makes American music so great.

January 15 – Tiny House of Funk (R&B/Blues/Soul) brings the same swagger and groove as the legendary band Little House of Funk in a compact, electrifying package with Sonoran soul packed into every beat. Led by Connie Brannock, Tiny House of Funk makes every stage feel like a big party.

February 19 – Barnaby and the Butcher (Country/Americana) play the broad genres of Alt-Country and Americana. Their originals and covers run the gamut of classic country, dark country, blues, and rock; which they perform with a style evoking deep nostalgia while feeling entirely new.

At their center are Damon Barnaby and Joshua Butcher, who bring complex guitar, warm, emotive vocals and lyrics to the table.

March 19 – Znora (Rock/Blues) is an award-winning three-piece rock band out of the Arizona desert. Adrian Negrete writes the original tunes, sings lead and plays guitar with a mix of varied influences from Chuck Berry and Santana to SRV and Hendrix. Joshua Montano brings his drum skills and passion for 90s rock drummer styles like Dave Grohl and Chad Smith. Johnathan Rohde fills out the low end on the bass and blends rich harmonies.

April 19 – Cisco & The Racecars (Bluegrass/Folk) specialize in bluegrass, folk, and old time Americana music. Their energetic style and diverse arrangements and instrumentation create a unique blend of old and new. Under the management and vision of Francisco Briseno, Cisco & The Racecars has taken its place as one of the premier bluegrass bands in the Southwest. In addition to performing, Cisco & the Racecars mentors the young players of the Jam Pak Blues ‘N’ Grass Neighborhood Band, a local after school music program that gave several of the band’s members their start.

Make it a night out, start the evening with a local bite. Learn about some of the food specials downtown businesses are offering on concert nights.

The concert series is a partnership between the Town of Fountain Hills and Art State Arizona. For event details, visit experiencefountainhills.org/events.
