Fountain Hills to illuminate fountain pink, honor Dolly Parton

Through Sept. 1

The Town of Fountain Hills will honor the life and legacy of Dolly Parton by illuminating the fountain pink each night through Sept. 1, the town announced.

Parton died on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the age of 80 years old.

“The tribute coincides with flags being flown at half-staff across Arizona and the country in memory of the legendary singer, songwriter, actress and philanthropist whose talent was matched only by her generosity and unmistakable spirit,” Town Public Information Officer Mike Pelton said.
