Fountain Hills to write State AG in stand against political violence

Town Council majority gave direction for letter

The Fountain Hills Town Council majority directed Town Manager Rachel Goodwin to write a letter condemning political violence and backing State Attorney General Kris Mayes in prosecution.

The discussion for the council came from direction by Councilmember Hannah Larrabee, who said in today’s heightened political climate, it’s important to encourage Mayes in enforcing the law.

“I’d like for our town to make a statement in that letter … that we stand against politcal violence, that we encourage the Attorney General to enforce these laws should our officials be met with threats…” she said.
