Fountain Hills Town Council approves additional funding for Golden Eagle Park flood project

Up to $300,000 to cover unanticipated costs

Fountain Hills Town Council voted unanimously to approve an additional $300,000 to cover unexpected costs for the Golden Eagle Park flood impoundment project at its May 20 regular session.

The vote was 6-0 with Councilmember Peggy McMahon absent.

“I understand this is a lot of money,  and staff takes that very seriously,” Public Works Director Justin Weldy told the council.
