The Fountain Hills Town Council gave final approval for a $41 million budget for the upcoming 24/25 Fiscal Year that begins on July 1.
The vote was 6-1 in favor of the plan with Councilman Allen Skillicorn dissenting.
Town Finance Director Paul Soldinger outlined the financial plan. The overall budget includes $24 million in expenditures for the General Fund operating budget, which is an increase of approximately 4% over the current year coming to an end. The General Fund includes an additional $1.8 million contingency for a $25.8 million total.
