The Fountain Hills Town Council passed the tentative fiscal year 2027 budget ,totaling $50.3 million in expenditures, during its May 5 meeting.
The new fiscal year begins July 1 and the town is rolling in with strong footing financially, Chief Financial Office Paul Soldinger said.
“January through April have probably been the best four months that we’ve had as a town since I’ve been here,” he said, adding that despite what other towns or cities may be facing budget-wise, Fountain Hills is “in a safe, sound situation from a revenue perspective and we’re actually having a really good run right now.”
