Fountain Hills Town Council has voted unanimously to approve an updated cooperative purchase agreement with Roadsafe Traffic Systems to provide safety barricading services for the town.
Town Public Works Director Justin Weldy presented the council with options to update an existing agreement, increasing the cost from $75,000 to $100,000 annually.
“The Public Works and Community Services departments rely on contractors to supply temporary traffic control devices, such as barricades, for maintenance projects within the town’s right of way and for special events,” the staff report to the council states.
