Fountain Hills Town Council approves up to $550,000 for Community Center work

Directs staff to save as much as possible on the work

Fountain Hills Town Council has approved a “not to exceed” allocation of $550,000 for updates in the Community Center facility.

Staff presented a request for replacement of the divider walls in the ballroom (up to $400,000), blinds for the south lobby windows ($50,000) and ceiling fans and updated light fixtures ($100,000).

The town’s FY2025 capital improvement plan includes approximately $450,000 in existing budget authority for Community Center improvements, according to Community Services Director Kevin Snipes.
