Amid rising tension leading up to the election in July, six Fountain Hills Town Council candidates were largely cordial outside of a lone outburst during a forum hosted in the Community Center Wednesday evening, April 29.
Ben Larrabee called out Jeff Tate for social media posts about midway through the forum, which drew a chorus from those in attendance and a threat to clear the room.
The event was put on in a joint effort between the Chamber of Commerce and I Love Fountain Hills Civic Affairs, and sponsored by Salt River Project.
