The Fountain Hills Town Council will discuss with possible action to reintroduce the call to the public, among additional road work during its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
The council temporarily removed the call to the public during a lengthy November 2025 meeting, in part to a notice of claim filed against the town for alleging religious comments that violated law. While the council voted 5-2 to remove it, discussion to bring it back with change was also mentioned at the time.
Amendments to the rules include moving the call to the public to after the agenda and with a set time allotted.
