Amid the rising concerns and complaints over electric bikes, the Fountain Hills Town Council discussed posible ways to crack down on regulations during its meeting on Tuesday, June 16.
The council held a lengthy discussion and heard a handful of options surrounding Valley cities have incorporated, but decided to table the item for a separate work session when the council reconvenes in the fall. The workshop will allow the council to discuss in greater detail a method to enforce regulations while keeping Fountain Hills fun for kids but still safe, as Councilmember Hannah Larrabee put it.
Councilmember Brenda Kalivianakis suggested an open house to hear residents’ opinions and concerns.
