The Fountain Hills Town Council will look to take steps in creating an ordinance for wireless telecommunications towers and antennas, and discuss the potential sale of town-owned land during its meeting on Tuedsday, March 3.
The council will decide possible action in ratifying a contract with McCollough Law Firm PC to assist in drafting updates to town ordinances for towers and antennas on private property, town-owned property and public rights-of-way. The Planning and Zoning Commission has spent time updating drafts, though technicalities have drawn cause for outside advice.
The fee for working with the firm is $15,000, according to meeting background information.
