While there continue to be calls to turn down the temperature on political rhetoric across the country, that does not seem to be the direction things are going for the Fountain Hills Town Council.
This year so far has been highlighted with the trading of ethics complaints filed by council members against their fellow council members with citizen surrogates also participating, and things don’t seem to be simmering down much.
The council held a special meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 13, to canvass and certify the results of the recent primary election for town council. The action on the canvass vote was uneventful.
