Fountain Hills Town Council looking to secure lease agreement with museum

Will also discuss alternative solar energy project options

The Fountain Hills Town Council will host a special session on Tuesday, June 30, where it will discuss a lease agreement for the River of Time Museum, as well as look for direction on future solar energy projects.

Councilmember Allen Skillicorn announced on Facebook the news of a special session with a potential solution with the River of Time Museum and Exploration Center on Thursday, June 25.

The museum and the town first entered into a lease agreement in August 2001 for a rate of $1 per year, and its 25-year contract was to expire this year for the roughly 5,000-square-foot facility.
