The Fountain Hills Town Council took no action, but heard direction from feedback regarding updates to the proposed development impact fees during its meeting on Dec. 16.
The fees will go before the council again in January with possible action and will go into effect in April, after a 75-day waiting period, Town Chief Financial Officer Paul Soldinger said.
Soldinger reviewed the increased impact fees as approved by the council during its Oct. 21 meeting. Fees just about tripled, with costs to develop a single-family home rising from $3,973 to $12,314.
