Fountain Hills Town Council to consider dissolving Municipal Property Corporation

Will also review SUP for animal rescue, kennel

The Fountain Hills Town Council has a light agenda for its Sept. 15 meeting, but will present a trio of recognitions and proclamations.

The largest item, however, is considering dissolving the Municipal Property Corporation.

The MPC was formed in 1998 and was used as a “middle-man” to complete pledged revenue bond issuances to build and purchase the town hall, community center, library and 200 acres of open space mountain preserve land, according to the meeting packet.
