The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board had a meeting Dec. 4, the last for long-time member Jill Reed.
Reed has become a pillar in Fountain Hills education, volunteering in various capacities for 19 years and serving on the board for 12.
“So, tonight is my last official board meeting,” she said. “...So it’s kind of bittersweet tonight. But I just want to thank everybody that’s in the audience tonight that has supported me through this. I’ve been here for the good, the bad and the ugly.
