Fountain Hills Unified School District board agenda

Fountain Hills High School wants students to travel around the world

Wednesday, Jan. 15, the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board hosts its regular board meeting. This is the first meeting led by newly-elected President Dr. Richard Rutkowski and Vice President Madicyn Reid. One of the first big topics discussed will be the recommendation that the board approve a purchase of over $100,000 for Logicalis to install a Mass Messaging and Emergency Communication with Digital Display system.

The cost for a Mass Messaging and Emergency Communication with Digital Display system districtwide will exceed the $100,000 purchasing threshold and will require board approval to do so. Sixty-six percent ($229,827.46) of the cost will be covered after finalization of the procurement and payment process by the COPS grant. The remaining thirty-three percent ($118,395.97) will be paid out of e-rate funds.
